This past week we’ve been prepping the Donley’s home in Drewry Bluffs.

We pressure washed on Monday, and on Tuesday we started scraping.  They have beautiful old Dutchlap siding, but the paint has been neglected for several years, as you can see below:

After scraping, everything gets sanded and feathered in:

Here’s Daniel applying premium Primer after everything has been washed, scraped, sanded, and repaired:

Next week we’ll add the finish coat.

More photos of the process are in the gallery at the bottom of the page.
Thanks for reading!

This week we’ve been working on the Cammarata’s home – you probably know them as the owners of J&S NY Pizza.

Silvio replace a lot of the old masonite siding with hardiplank – the new siding is primed yellow.

We replaced some rotten fascias and brick molding.  The entire home gets caulk.

Josephine picked out a nice pale green for the siding, and the trim gets a new coat of white.

A pretty straightforward job, except for the 105 degree temperature on Friday!  Whew, that was a hot one.

I’ll post some more photos when we’re done.
